Join us for a chance to explore the amazing efforts of Libertyville's neighborhood gardeners. The Hidden Gems Garden Walk on Saturday, June 27th, gives an insider's look into stunning outdoor spaces hidden just behind the front gate. The Garden Walk features five exceptional gardens in our area.
Gather some friends and enjoy a special summer Saturday on this self-guided tour, driving within Libertyville to five sites. Meet the gardeners who design and create these suburban oases. Be inspired and collect ideas for your own yards. This year's gardens spotlight both small and large lots, master gardeners and novices, water features and native plants.
Patrons will have an opportunity to speak with educators from Wild Ones, Lake County; Audubon Society; We will also have Artists showing and selling their work at four homes.
Add a stroll down Mainstreet Libertyville to shop or dine.
Proceeds from Hidden Gems fund community plantings, Civic Center Butterfly Garden, North Cook Library entrance pollinator pocket, Blue Star Marker and gardens, many charitable donations, Libertyville Food Pantry, and a Scholarship for area students enrolled in a Horticulture/Environmental related field.
Water bottle filling stations will be available at two Walk locations. Starting in 2024, in order to align with our environmental mission, we do NOT give out single use plastic water bottles.
Ticket prices are $20; $25 day of the walk. Tickets online are $21 to cover charge fees. Ticket sales are capped at 500 to manage road and garden traffic. Please watch our Facebook site and this site for updates on ticket availability. Online ticket availability will be adjust after each day of in-person sales.
