We are a civic service social club. We design, fill and maintain container gardens at the Cook Library, Cook Mansion, Civic Center, and train station. We planted and maintain a memorial Butterfly Garden by the Civic Center, the Blue Star Memorial in Cook Park, and this summer will plant a Pollinator Garden at the North Entrance to Cook Library. In the spring, we plant containers with seniors, and all members work on and sell tickets for our fundraiser the Hidden Gems Garden Walk (4th Saturday in June). We sponsor scholarships for area students studying in a horticulture-environmental related field.

We meet the first Wednesday of each month during the day in members' homes. At each meeting, March - December, we learn about an aspect of gardening through a presentation; a creative, hands-on project; or a field trip. A business meeting follows and each gathering includes a meal prepared by a small team of members.

Qualifications: an enthusiasm for gardening, a desire to learn, and a willingness to share these experiences with a great group of women.

Please fill out the contact form, or send an email directly to towncountrygardenclub5@gmail.com. We will get back to you with more information within a few days. Thank you for your interest!
